40% of area remains to be threshed in Belarus. Brest Region leads in pace of harvesting

4 million tons of grain will be harvested in Belarus today. The yield weighs 3 970 000 tons right now. The harvest remains on 40 % of the area.

The leader in terms of pace is Brest Region, which is working on the last quarter of the fields. 874 000 tons of grain us on its account. Minsk Region has already harvested 961 000 tons of grain and has 45 % of the area ahead. Vitebsk and Gomel Regions have crossed the half-million mark.
