High wage growth rates retained in Belarus - EBRD
In Belarus, the high growth rates of wages is retained, according to the regular review of the Eurasian Development Bank (EBRD). In October, their growth amounted to 15.9%, while in September it was over 16%. A slight change is associated with the acceleration of inflation.
At the same time, the analysts say, the growth of nominal wages (that is, without deduction of taxes) accelerated, reaching a level of more than 20% in October (in September, this figure was 18%). Overall, in January-October, the wages of Belarusians increased by 10.7% in real terms.
The highest average salary is traditionally recorded in Minsk - Br2,662. Among the regions, the highest wages are paid in Minsk Region, and the lowest in Mogilev Region.
