Moscow opens Belarusian-Russian production of elevators

Moscow opens Belarusian-Russian joint production of elevators. The companies Mogilevliftmash and Vozduhotehnika signed a memorandum. Last year, over 40,000 lifts were installed in Russia. 90 percent of them are produced domestically. According to the technical requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, all obsolete elevator equipment must be replaced completely in Russia by 2020.

The Belarusian-Russian enterprise will start operating in Moscow this year. The production capacity is expected to reach 10,000 lifts per year.
