On January 1, 1956, first broadcast of Minsk TV studio took place
It is no coincidence that the new era of television began on the first day of 1956. It is from this date that the annals of the modern airwaves are written. The Moscow signal was joined by Minsk experimental signal.
How Belarusian TV started
The TV Centre was completed in 1957. The recognizable tower is still an architectural treasure of Minsk. The building at Makayonka Street appeared in the 1970s. Today it has all the technical stuffing, including studio complexes of 100, 300, 600 meters.
