3 hours on the road - high-speed highway to connect Minsk and Moscow

Minsk and Moscow are actively working on the project of the railroad. The high-speed railroad, which will connect the two capitals, is planned to be called “Union”. The project was presented at the economic forum in St. Petersburg.

Trains on this highway will move at a speed of 200 to 400 kilometers per hour. A total of 21 trains will run on the route. All of them will be equipped with a children's room, kitchen, bar and entertainment multimedia system.

According to preliminary estimates, the launch of the highway will increase passenger traffic between Moscow and Minsk from the current 1 million passengers a year to almost 4 million.
