International observers from Europe start arriving in Belarus
The Belarusian referendum arouses interest in European politicians. Today, there was a meeting between Andrei Savinykh, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Standing Committee on International Affairs, and Senator Emanuele Dessi of the Italian Republic. The delegation also includes Matteo Peggio, executive secretary of the Italian association "Committee of Solidarity with Belarus", and Igor Camilli, coordinator of the "Socialist Homeland" movement. All of them have come as international observers to the forthcoming referendum.
We have come to observe the referendum, but first of all to express our friendship to the Belarusian people and government. On Sunday we will be working as international observers for the referendum on the Constitution. But we have already seen that your country is absolutely free and democratic. We hope that this referendum will bring a lot of benefits to your country.
The Committee of Solidarity with Belarus was organized at the initiative of Italian activists from the association "Socialist Homeland" in August 2020 to counteract the information attacks on Belarus by the globalist mass media. At present, it unites several dozens of Italian volunteers in Rome, Milan, Reggio Emilia and other cities of Italy.
