Lung ventilator presented to Mogilev Children’s Home
Today, a lung ventilator was presented to Mogilev Specialized Children’s Home. Representatives of the Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation and a large trading network carried out the charitable mission. This was the sixth gift to the country. In total 9 of them will be given.
Natalia Aleksandrovich, head doctor of the Mogilev Specialized Children’s Home:
There is another new child under observation at the palliative care center, who will need this apparatus very much. So, help is timely and that is the most important thing.
Those, who need this help by definition and who cannot help themselves - these are children, first of all sick children, who are under palliative care at our health care institutions.
The charity event "Give Five to Kindness" has been taking place in Belarus for several years. The Belarusian Peace Foundation and a large trading network have been supplying special medical equipment throughout the country for four years. A new lung ventilator has recently appeared in Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children’s Home. There are more than 60 children in the treatment and rehabilitation institution, 16 of whom need palliative care. All conditions have been created for treatment, development and rehabilitation of the children. There is also a regional palliative care center with outpatient outreach service in the orphanage.
