Belarus ready to share full information on emergency landing of Ryanair plane
Belarus is ready to share full information on the emergency landing of the plane on Sunday at Minsk-2 Airport. On Tuesday, the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications posted an official statement on its website.
In particular, it published a letter, received on May 23 by e-mail at Minsk-2 National Airport. The text contains a threat to blow up an aircraft over Vilnius. Also, a full transcript of the conversation between the dispatcher and the pilot is publicly available as evidence that the crew of the aircraft was not pressurized or threatened and forced to land by the authorized bodies of the Republic of Belarus. These materials were sent to all international aviation organisations, as well as to the heads of aviation administrations of European and other countries. Nevertheless, Western partners are using the incident to their political advantage. Behind the screen of speculation, there are also many facts that the methods of intercepting civilian aircraft are often practised by the West itself.
