Belarus and China negotiate creation of joint space satellite

This was announced today at a press conference of representatives of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences. Also, Belarusian scientists, together with their Russian counterparts, are developing a new for remote Earth sensing apparatus. The draft project will be ready by December. One of the fields of space activities of Belarus is the creation of a nano-satellite for the educational process. It is planned to launch it at the end of this year. Data from the device will be sent to the laboratory for the implementation of scientific projects.

On September 10, the 31st International Space Congress will start in Minsk. About 900 astronauts from all over the world, as well as experts in the field of space exploration will come to Minsk. The largest delegations will arrive from Russia, the USA, Germany and the Netherlands.
