Unscheduled landing of Belavia plane in Domodedovo, comments of airline

Belavia commented on the details of the today's incident with Minsk - Antalya plane. As stated the airline's press service, around noon the plane landed successfully at Domodedovo airport. All passengers were provided with food. An extra plane is expected in the near future.

While performing a flight 9215 from Minsk to Antalya, with 189 passengers and crew on board, a Boeing 737-800 triggered an alarm about the malfunction of one of the engines. In accordance with instructions, the crew decided to reduce to a safe altitude of 8000 feet, shut down the engine and performed a smooth landing at Domodedovo Airport.
