Students of Belarusian agricultural universities get opportunity to serve in reserve during summer vacations

Hot summer days are waiting for students of agrarian universities, who have decided to use the new opportunity and combine their summer break with military training. This is an innovation of the spring call-up campaign. This alternative was offered to students of agricultural universities. The uniform turned out to be in demand. Now the students are getting involved in the army life. 50 guys joined the engineering brigade in Sosny. All of them will be sappers. Soon, the recruits will take the oath of allegiance. The first training camp will continue till August 25. Students of agrarian universities got an opportunity to serve in the reserve during the summer vacation as a part of the Armed Forces experiment. According to the idea, during three years students will have three training camps during summer vacations. That is, the time of service in the reserve for these young people has been reduced as an exception.

The list of educational institutions, whose students can serve during summer vacations, includes Vitebsk Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Gorki Agricultural Academy, Grodno Agrarian University and Minsk Agrarian-Technical University.
