Belarusian universities sum up results of tuition-free admissions

The Belarusian universities are summing up the results of the tuition-free admissions. At the Belarusian State University, 72% of applicants who were enrolled in the general competition, based on the results of the Centralised Testing, have a total score of 300 points or more.

Over 2,000 students have already been admitted. 94 winners of the Olympiads and laureates of special funds were admitted without entrance exams. 30% of the new students graduated fr om school with a gold medal. The Belarusian State University has already reported this is a record figure. The highest passing points are at the faculties of International Relations and of Linguistics and Country Studies – 383 points. The Faculty of International Law is one point behind.

As for creative departments, wh ere applicants passed internal exams, the highest passing points were in Web Journalism – 393 points. The tuition-free admission will end on 28 July in all universities.
