Borisov Plant of Medications launches new production site

The new production site was presented today to journalists by Borisov Plant of Medications. The plan for this year is 16 new products. The plant has already applied for registration of medicines under the rules of the EAEC. The new production site of the plant will allow producing 90 million ampoules a year. It consists of several process flows. These are the lines of preparation, bottling, control, labeling and packaging.

The equipment minimizes the human factor, which means it improves the quality of injecting drugs. The plant will be able to focus on the production of ampoules of syringe filling. The next step is the modernization of the release of tablets.

The domestic market is estimated at almost $ 700 million. While more than 37% of drugs made in Belarus cost less than one dollar. In general, the cost of drugs is planned to decrease, correcting the approach to the selection and purchase of substances.
