Brest border guards stop violation of border by drone

The drone was seized, the violators were detained. The Border Committee of our country told the details of the night incident on the border. Brest border guards found an airplane-type aircraft, while not far from the landing place of the drone (near the village of Zapolye, Brest Region) three Belarusians, who operated it, were detained. The law enforcers also found a device to launch the copter and a laptop with the route.

Administrative proceedings were initiated against the men for the use of the drone in the border zone and violation of the border regime. A fine of up to 2 thousand rubles.

Since April 1, any operation of drones without proper authorization is prohibited.
