Road to Shrines begins on Day of Written Language

The expedition "The Road to Shrines" started in Minsk. The scientific and educational pilgrimage will head for the town of Ivanovo, Brest Region. Early in the morning at the Holy Spirit Cathedral a divine service was held in honor of the participants. The pilgrims were given spiritual relics, the Holy Fire from the Holy Sepulcher, the icon of the Mother of God and consecrated bread.

The expedition will visit more than a dozen towns. Pilgrims will take part in divine services, hold scientific and creative meetings.
