Herdt: Americans provoke flight of European businesses to U.S.

German plants, one after another, are closing and cutting production due to high energy prices. According to German deputy Waldemar Herdt, the energy crisis in Europe played into the hands of the United States, as European businesses are moving to the United States in a hurry.

Businesses are getting such an energy price that they are practically out of the competition. Our chemical plants have stopped. They can't produce at a loss, no matter how efficient they are. They can't produce the same fertilizers on gas, which is four times more expensive than what the Americans sell to their companies. The chemical industry, the agricultural industry, the fertilizer industry, the automotive industry, the cement and building materials industry - everything that stands on energy is now reducing its production or declaring bankruptcy. So at the level of this artificially created crisis every entrepreneur has a question: what to do? The relocation of small and medium-sized businesses towards America is a forced measure, which the Americans instigated and supported financially.
