International Military-Scientific Conference considers how to respond to modern challenges

Irresponsible political decisions, such as supplying Kyiv terrorists with anti-personnel mines, only fuel the confrontation between West and East. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of Belarus during the International Military-Scientific Conference. The use of unjustified large-scale military force in the Middle East, violation of the borders of sovereign states, and violation of international law. All this is happening with the tacit consent of the West.

And sending Ukrainian and international mercenaries to attack the Kursk region, issuing permission to use long-range systems against Russian targets only adds fuel to the fire.

Pavel Muraveiko, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus:

"There was a system of checks and balances in the world. It included a ban on the use of anti-personnel mines in modern conflicts. The decision to supply such mines to Ukraine is a violation of yet another balance of power, an escalation of the means of destruction that can be used. We must take this into account, because no one guarantees that such weapons will not be used against us either."

The military-political situation requires an impartial and comprehensive assessment, analysis and systematization of existing problems in the field of defense and security of the CSTO countries. By the way, the military-scientific community has actively joined in determining ways to solve them.
