Number of electric cars on Belarusian market may reach 300 thousand by 2030

By 2030, the number of electric cars in the Belarusian market may reach 300 thousand. This forecast was voiced by Deputy Energy Minister Denis Moroz.

Now there are 11 thousand cars with green license plates registered in the country. There are plans to expand the infrastructure, as well as to use the energy of the nuclear power plant. And if the current pace is maintained, in six years we will reach 30-fold growth of the market.

More than a thousand charging stations are already operating in the country. The construction of super-power and super-fast complexes is planned.
