Ukraine not needed in NATO

NATO will not accept Ukraine into the military bloc, but will continue to give false hopes. This opinion was shared by Russian expert Vladimir Kireyev. According to him, Washington does not need Ukraineas an ally, they are only interested in waging a war of attrition with Russia by the hands of Ukrainians.

“The United States is solving global issues at the moment. They are creating problems for Russia with the help of Ukraine. The United States does not need Ukraine as a permanent partner. Ukraine is a tool for them, a very important tool at the moment. And what will happen in two or four years, maybe the focus of attention will shift in another direction, some global reshuffle will take place, and Ukraine will turn from an asset into embarrassment. The United States does not want to create conditions for itself when it will be forced to honor its own words, so it says in the most streamlined way possible that NATO's door for Ukraine is open. NATO is ready to accept Ukraine, but, of course, after the end of the war, which is a rational logical requirement. At the same time, the United States seeks not to bind itself with any obligations at all.
