President at graduation party: Together we will hold our country, our Motherland in our hands
On June 23, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took part in the national holiday of graduates from higher education institutions, BelTA informs.
"Dear friends, good evening! Let me greet you for the first time in a new format, meeting with new people here in the center of our capital, and congratulate you on the great holiday in your life. A holiday that is the only one and that will never happen again. As I approached here, I thought to myself, this is an exceptional atmosphere. And it is you, with your youth and your beauty, who create this atmosphere. How else could it be? Your euphoria today is easy to understand. The stressful years of study, tests, exams, and sleepless nights (I mean nights spent with a textbook) are behind you. And tomorrow you have a new life. So have fun today, and tomorrow with renewed vigor go to new successes. You will educate, teach, cure, build, develop technology, create masterpieces of art and much, much more. You will protect the world and ensure national security," said Alexander Lukashenko.
"The moment is also serious in that from tomorrow, each young graduate, a young man will have a piece of our country in your hands. And together we will hold our country, our homeland in our hands. And, as I told the prize winners this morning, look, this is your responsibility. Do not let your land be taken, you will not have another. Wherever you are, wherever you study, wherever you work. It is yours. Don't give it to anyone," the President urged the young people.
The head of state noted that the graduates will soon leave for their first jobs in different corners of Belarus. And the smaller this corner is, the more noticeable the young people will be, the greater their contribution to the history of their native country, said Alexander Lukashenko. "Our cozy country, beautiful, clean Belarus, which we all certainly love," he stressed.
