Lukashenko: There has never been such a complicated situation around Belarus as there is now
Alexander Lukashenko said at the Republican Pedagogical Council that everyone needs to think how to hold the country together, and it all starts with teachers, BelTA reports.
“I live together with you in this life, society, and I see what is happening. And as a more informed person, I know more about each of the directions. And the sphere of education is the most important for me. I know a little bit about what is going on in it. 50 percent, maybe more, of my work is teaching. I have to see, analyze and teach the whole country. And sometimes you set a task, control it - it's not done, then you go and do it yourself,” the head of state said.
“Therefore, we are in the same boat with you and we have nowhere to go. There is no need to be dark, lie or embellish the situation. The situation is very complicated. There has never been such complexity around Belarus as there is now. And we need to hold the country together. And we all want to be sovereign and independent. And how it will be kept, we should all think about it. And be ready for it. And everything starts with us - teachers,” emphasized the Belarusian leader.
