Lukashenko promises broadband internet in rural areas by 2025
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has confirmed the plan to provide broadband Internet access in rural areas by 2025. He said this while answering the questions of employees of the enterprise "Mogilevliftmash," BelTA reports.
"We have a plan to close this issue in 2025. We have to solve this problem. We are not lagging behind the world. Basically we will do this work," said the Belarusian leader.
At the same time, the head of state pointed out that people should be told how to safely use the Internet. "It's a great thing, but it's also a good dump," said Alexander Lukashenko.
