Minister of housing and communal services tells about industry plans for 2024

The Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus Gennady Trubilo told about the industry's plans for 2024, BelTA informs.

In the Year of Quality, quality indicators come first, Gennady Trubilo emphasized. "Our plans are to fulfill the indicator of supplying consumers with water of drinking quality at the level of 99.1%. For this purpose we will have to build more than 150 water deferrization stations, replace more than 300 km of water supply networks and 150 km of water disposal (sewerage) networks with excessive service life", - he noted.

For comfortable and safe living of citizens the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services will have to overhaul 3.647 million square meters of the total area of residential buildings, replace 603 elevators, which have worked out the normative terms of operation.

In order to ensure efficient and reliable heat supply, according to the Minister, the task is to replace more than 450 km of heating networks with long service life, which will reduce losses of heat energy of own production during its transportation to 9.2%.

"We also have to implement the measures worked out by the temporary interdepartmental working group created in the government to address issues in the sphere of solid municipal waste management. We plan to achieve the use of 36% of solid municipal waste, to collect 812 thousand tons of secondary material resources", said Gennady Trubilo.
