N. Kochanova meets with Azerbaijani ambassador on occasion of ending his diplomatic mission in Belarus
Ambassador of Azerbaijan Latif Gandilov is finishing his work in Minsk. Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova met today with the representative of Baku in Belarus. Bilateral relations between the countries have been considerably intensified in recent years. Minsk and Baku intend to further develop the multi-vector cooperation in all spheres, relying on the friendly relations.
The good close relations that bind our peoples and countries should continue to develop. There is no doubt in this, because Azerbaijan is a strategic partner for our country. We have always lent a helping hand to each other in difficult times. We have done a lot in various areas of development of relations between our countries and inter-parliamentary and intergovernmental, on economic development. A trade house of Azerbaijan was opened directly with your participation.
Export and import has been arranged between Belarus and Azerbaijan. Last year, the trade turnover grew by half and reached almost 450 million dollars.
