P. Poppel: EU government not represent interests of people

The fact that Belarus always defends, first of all, the interests of its people, has always irritated Western politicians, because there they prioritize purely personal ambitions. The situation with migrants is a vivid example of how the authorities in Belarus defend their country. This opinion was voiced to our TV channel by Austrian political analyst Patrick Poppel.

I think that Belarus is currently the only country in Europe that cares about the interests of its state and its people. The governments of the EU states do not represent the interests of the people. The best example of this is the speech by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the issue of refugees. The refugees have brought social problems and crime with them, but they want to let more people into the country. Such a policy does not meet the interests of the population of France, Austria and many other countries. I believe that Mr. Lukashenko has decided to do what is in the interests of the state on the issue of migration.
