Pinevich: 70% of high technologies move from capital to regional centers and major cities
The main task of the patient referral is sending him to the place where he will be fully provided with medical care. This was said by Minister of Health Dmitry Pinevich.
According to him, there are still health care facilities that require modernization. "Not in terms of turning them into palaces, but in terms of bringing them into a normal condition for the patients and, above all, for high-quality medical care. We have developed plans with all the governors as to when and in what medical institution the modernization will be completed. There are not many of them. And it will be fulfilled. This year, as well as at the beginning of next year, landmark facilities will be commissioned in Mogilev and Grodno, facilities will be commissioned in Minsk Region. Recently, a large hospital has been commissioned in Vitebsk Region. In Slavgorod, smaller facility was fully adjusted for the requirements of the XXI century," he said.
70% of high technology was transferred from the capital to the regional centers and major cities such as Molodechno and Bobruisk and the cities, which are accelerated in their development and to which our greatest efforts are devoted, the minister said. "The institutions that deal with surgical and emergency care, where intensive care units are deployed, need to be equipped as goods as the major centers that the level of medical care did not differ from that of the higher level of care," he said.
Speaking about the sudden inspections, announced by the President, the head of the department responded that the health care system should always be ready. That's why most of our outpatient facilities operate 24x7. Therefore, preparedness must be ensured a priori.
