Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Human Beings

President of Belarus proposed to make it a memorable date in the calendar in 2005 at the UN summit in New York. The world community supported the initiative, every year on July 30 all countries gather at a round table and sum up the results of work to eradicate slavery, coercion and social inequality.

According to the most conservative estimates, there are more than 20 million people in slavery around the world.
