Solovyov: Lukashenko stopped civil war in Russia
Allies need to stick together, this was also demonstrated by what happened in Russia. The successful overcoming of the most acute phase was an example of close mutual understanding and strategic cooperation between Minsk and Moscow. This opinion was expressed by the Russian journalist, radio and television presenter Vladimir Solovyov to our TV channel.
According to him, Alexander Lukashenko's efforts to resolve the conflict made it possible to stop the attempt of a de facto civil war in the territory of the Union State.
"We were already getting ready for the worst thing to happen - it was the beginning of a de facto civil war. Fifteen of our men died - pilots, 15 men died doing their duty. They turned out to be loyal to their oath, not the men who shot them down. I only know from the fact that the great good relationship between our presidents has once again saved the Union State from a terrible disaster. If we came to your aid in 2020, which now, of course, the role of Alexander Grigorievich, his wisdom, his talent as a negotiator cannot be overestimated ," Solovyov stressed.
"But I can't even imagine how difficult and hard, I would say, excruciatingly hard it was. Yes, how many hours of negotiations! This is just a thriller and a detective story, but the role is outstanding - the civil war was stopped," stated the journalist
