Young member of Belarus Academy of Sciences named candidate to SIRIUS crew

The purpose of the international project is preparation for flights to the outer space, first of all, to the near-lunar station. The experiment will be conducted by the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Participants will study the psychology and workability of a person during a flight to the Moon. According to plans, the expedition should begin on March 1, 2019. The crew will spend 4 months in isolation in the Earth Experimental Complex.

"This is a joint project with NASA. There are several opportunities for participation. This is the development and presentation of their experiments for the implementation of this project, scientific experiments aimed at this goal, and the second - the participation of a young man or a girl in this program."

In total, about 70 young scientists wished to become a member of the expedition.
