KGB officer shot dead in Minsk. Criminal case initiated

The accident happened the night before in one of the apartments of a residential building. Fire was opened at law enforcement officers, who checked addresses where persons involved in terrorist activities could be. As a result, a KGB officer was mortally wounded. The attacker was liquidated by return fire. The shooter and his wife were filming everything that happened on their mobile phones.

The wife of the attacker was detained on suspicion of complicity in the murder of a KGB officer. The Investigation Committee conducts urgent investigative actions and operational-search measures, which are aimed at identifying persons involved in the commission of crimes.

The General Prosecutor's Office conducted an inquiry into the use of weapons against a KGB officer. The office stressed that the attacker was reasonably suspected of committing especially dangerous crimes related to terrorism.
