It's important not just to monitor the situation, but also to understand the position of all players. The meeting featured representatives of the MART, the Ministry of Health, drug manufacturers and pharmacy chains. Of course, everyone has his own opinion, but the interests of ordinary people are given a high priority.

According to preliminary data, drug prices rose by more than 4.5% in January. The problem must be solved comprehensively. When communicating with manufacturers, it is important to understand that they should not operate at a loss, because their profits are used primarily to pay salaries. And no one needs a shortage of drugs on the market.

Deputies have their own monitoring. Specialized committees compared prices in the capital's pharmacies. As a basis, they took a set of drugs for a cold including 8 items. It turned out that in state pharmacies the final price is cheaper by about 18%.

The monitoring shows: pharmacies try to provide discounts and offer a favorable discount program to the customers. Consumers are urged to choose Belarusian drugs. They are often cheaper than foreign ones, while being not inferior in quality.
