Holiday poster for Independence Day - about 120 events in Minsk alone
A special festive atmosphere is already sweeping the whole of Belarus. City streets are decorated and general rehearsals have taken place. Tomorrow, about 120 events are scheduled only in the capital. There will be requiem rallies, patriotic flash mobs, exhibitions and concerts.
The festive relay race will start in the morning with the laying of wreaths and flowers at the Mound of Glory. There will also be a meeting with young people. And at noon there will be thematic exhibitions and fairs, and concerts. On the area near the memorial complex you can also take part in master classes on embossing or wood-painting, learn the modern military equipment or study the varieties of regional towels. The Barrow of Glory will become the attraction for the participants of the rally "For United Belarus!" The convoy will start at 8:20 from Uruchcie.
The motorists from Mogilev and Gomel will join the group from Minsk. In all the churches and monasteries of the country, there will be prayers for peace and unity of the people in our land. The all-national prayer will end with the ringing of bells at noon. Chizhovka Arena will become one of the largest and most active sites. In the morning there will be a cross-country skiing race, and then an international kettlebell lifting festival. Of course, there will be various interactive activities and music program.
For the first time the Bolshoi Theatre will join the celebration on July 3. There will be a classical music concert, and a special exhibition "History of the country through the history of the theater". Among the popular open air places in the capital there are Palace of Sports and the Upper City. Tomorrow at noon, a concert non-stop will begin. Folk, vocal, instrumental and choreographic bands will perform. The musical marathon will continue at the stele "Minsk Hero City".
The "Turetsky Choir" will perform as well. And at 9 p.m., the Presidential Orchestra will accompany the gala concert "United Belarus". "Let's sing the anthem together" action will be a particularly memorable and emotional moment. Fireworks will be the final chord of the holiday. The sky will be colored at 11 p.m.
In Minsk, peaceful volleys will be given from six locations: Victory Park, Hugo Chavez and Pavlov parks, on the embankment of the reservoir Drozdzdy, as well as on the sites at "Chizhovka Arena" and near the National Library. The colorful show will last about seven minutes.
