All-Belarusian event "We are the Citizens of Belarus” begins

In the Year of historical memory, a passport presenting ceremonies for young citizens was symbolically held in the Victory Hall of the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. 15 best pupils got their passports from the hands of the Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko. He met with students, who demonstrated excellent academic success, took part in scientific and practical conferences, win and took prizes in the republican competitions, festivals and competitions. According to the vice-premier the state provides necessary social conditions for their development: comfortable environment for training, constantly improving material and technical base, high level of teaching, corresponding to all world standards.

The Year of Historical Memory obliges us to remember and honor the feat of our fathers and grandfathers, who defended the honor and independence of our land, rebuilt and revived the country. This allows the current generation to live in comfortable conditions and get a good education. Teachers give their heart and knowledge, all their strength and skills to train good professionals, to create a solid foundation for our future generation.
At the end of the event, the participants laid flowers to the Minsk - the Hero City Stele. It should be noted that this year within the framework of the All-Belarusian campaign "We are the Citizens of Belarus", according to the preliminary data, more than 150 ceremonies featuring about 3 thousand teenagers will be held.
