Tourists from 50 countries visit Brest Fortress in 2019

Tourists from almost all the continents of the world visited the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex in 2019. 50 states and about 470 000 guests were represented. In total, the legendary citadel was visited by more than 25 million organized tourists. Brest Hero Fortress was awarded the main award ((Živa Award 2019)) established by the Forum of the Slavic Cultures international foundation, in the nomination "The Best Slavic Heritage Site".
