Belarus plans to create digital health care platform

New approaches to the digital transformation of the Belarusian healthcare - on behalf of the head of state, the country plans to implement a centralized information system. Opportunities and prospects of its development were discussed at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko. The platform will unite all medical institutions of the country, including those in the regions (it will expand the interaction of Belarusian doctors, allow to develop a system of telemedicine and mobile medical devices). Also, one of the most important aspects is the security of the patient's personal data, so the platform will be based on domestic servers.

A clear structure of creation, implementation, maintenance and development of the centralized information system of health care will be built. They are also solving the problem of equipping workplaces of doctors and nursing staff with computers.
