Belarus gradually expanding use of digital technologies during university admission campaign
The modern technologies are being more and more actively introduced in the educational process. Vice Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko visited the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, where he got acquainted with the process of submission of documents by applicants. The use of electronic offices allows not only to minimize the risks of Covid-19 diseases, but also reduces the time of application. There you can also fill in all the data of CT certificates, passport, as well as register for a certain time of documents submission. Today, most Belarusian universities have such offices.
Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus: "We will gradually move towards digital electronic signature, we will probably be able to file documents without physical presence. but this is a matter of perspective. In fact, that is where we are going starting with the electronic queue, electronic university applicants' offices."
In total higher education institutions will admit about 55 thousand students. The colleges are planning to enroll about 40 thousand applicants.
