Belarus extends visa-free regime
From now on, non-Belarus citizens visiting the country can stay in Belarus for up to 30 days without a visa. The decree was signed yesterday by the President. The main condition for foreign visitors remains the same – they must enter and leave Belarus only via the National Airport Minsk. As before, the new rules will not affect those who come to Minsk from Russia and those who fly from the Belarusian capital to Russian airports. It is expected that the visa requirements simplification will revive interest in the country among tourists and improve the business climate in the country. Tourists will also be able to easily attend the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year and the Second European Games in 2019.
