Living wage level and amount of child allowances raised in Belarus

In Belarus, the living wage budget is raised today. It will be 213 rubles 67 kopecks. The amount is calculated on average per capita and by main socio-demographic groups. It is approved by the decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection once a quarter. The minimum living wage and social pensions, as well as allowances depend on the living wage budget. The growth of these payments depends on changes in the average salary across the country. It is corrected twice a year, on August 1 and February 1.
