Ambassadors hold meeting with representatives of business circles in Minsk
The ambassadorial training continues in Minsk, and today's program includes a meeting of the diplomatic corps with representatives of more than 200 Belarusian companies. Private or state-owned, they are all focused on exports and opening up new markets. Particular attention is paid to Europe; many companies will have to re-orient supplies from there to other directions. It cannot be done without the help of consuls and ambassadors.
We see that our partners - associations of businesses, specific enterprises in Europe - have a direct interest not to lose cooperation. The fact is that this is a common interest, this is also the interest of the business from that side, this is the base from which we can build on. We are also planning to use the most different and new formats to promote our exports, for example international electronic trading platforms and virtual exhibitions. All this requires a serious and pragmatic approach.
Our industrial flagships also talk about increasing exports: for example, MTZ is aimed at the markets of the American continent. Dubai will host the World Expo 2020 exhibition, and the national pavilion of Belarus will become a kind of a business center of our country for contacts.
