Astronauts from all over the world to gather in Minsk today

Today, the International Space Congress opens in Minsk. Every year it gathers astronauts, scientists and representatives of national space agencies from around the world.

The official part of the congress is dedicated to the discussion of the development of space research in the world. An exposition dedicated to the exploration of outer space will open at the main forum. Guests will get acquainted with the history of Belarus, its successes in the field of space research, the Belarusian technologies for creating high-resolution optical equipment, space mirrors and equipment for remote Earth sensing.

During the congress, its participants plan to visit Belarusian schools, universities, institutes of the National Academy of Sciences and Minsk Suvorov Military School.

The General Assembly of the Association will be held on September 14. Then the participants of the congress will set up the Walk of Cosmonauts in the Botanical Garden.
