Minsk City Hall hosts motivational meeting of Alexey Talay with children suffering from spinal muscular atrophy

A motivational meeting of Alexey Talay with children suffering from spinal muscular atrophy was held in Minsk City Hall. The famous athlete told about the way of life, about the victory over himself and the circumstances, shared his motivations for not giving up when he is ill. And children in their turn prepared the improvised exhibition of creative works.

Olga Shpilevskaya, chairwoman of the Belarusian Union of Women:

“When you look at these people, you understand that we do not motivate them, but they motivate us. They motivate us to live to the fullest, to overcome obstacles. These people are courageous. Some have several higher educations. They take an active civic stand. We want people to know about these people, to understand that they are full-fledged citizens of our country and that we treat them with special attention.”

The meeting was initiated by the Belarusian Union of Women. During the event, those who wished were able to bring their suggestions and requests to the representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
