Vitebsk celebrates 1044th birthday

The city had the hardest time during the Great Patriotic War. The city was rebuilt from the ashes. Literally Vitebsk was destroyed by more than 90% percent. Now it is a modern and comfortable city.

The inhabitants and guests of the city celebrate its 1044^th birthday. Even the cloudy weather could not overshadow the holiday. Vitebsk celebrates its birthday on several sites at once. Among them there is the Summer Amphitheater.

Live music is heard throughout the city. The holiday of the city is an excellent opportunity to spend a good weekend.

There will be a dance competition, and a humor festival on Victory Square.
