Unique command bunker in Shchuchin District to become tourist attraction

By Yuri Karnelovich: One of the most secret military objects dating back to the Cold War is about to reveal its secrets. In Shchuchin District, a unique command bunker will become a tourist attraction. The underground command facility was built in 1977 year. It was designed in such a way it could withstand even a nuclear strike.

The authors of the project are planning to recreate the original look of the bunker to the smallest detail. Excursion tours will be conducted here in the form of quests and quizzes. Visitors will also have a chance to experience what it is like when a combat alert goes off and the bunker goes into an independent mode of operation.
