Vitebsk celebrates Day of Liberation from German fascist Invaders

The memory of the fallen soldiers was honored at Victory Square, near the monument to the Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters. During the Great Patriotic War the city on the Western Dvina experienced terrible trials. It was almost destroyed. The invaders bombed houses, businesses, monuments of architecture.
