Volfovich: Fight against fascism and neo-Nazism is a priority of our state policy
The fight against fascism and neo-Nazism is a priority of our state policy. This was stated today by State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich during the II International Anti-Fascist Congress. The representative forum with guests from more than 30 countries is taking place in Minsk. In the Central House of Officers, delegates are discussing issues related to the current threats of this evil. This includes the rewriting of history, rehabilitation of Nazi criminals, attempts to accuse the Soviet Union the winner over the brown plague of the 20th century, in inciting the World War II. All these phenomena are of the same order, testifying to very dangerous processes taking place in the West.
Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus:
"Today, a real hybrid war and information war is unleashed, when today they are trying to turn history upside down, when the heirs of fascists raised their heads and started talking about fascism, the neo-Nazism. Mankind has probably forgotten how many troubles fascism brought to the world and who liberated the world from the brown plague of fascism. Today, speaking about these facts, about this history, we remind or try to remind the world community that fascism must be stopped."
"Today, neo-fascism, cultivated by the elite of a number of states in the world, is not dressed in brown or black shirts and boots. It covers itself with a screen of struggle for democracy and human rights."
