Doctors from all regions of Belarus visit Palace of Independence

Doctors from all regions of Belarus visited one of the symbols of sovereignty, the Palace of Independence. These are the people who literally save our lives. They have been working in pandemic conditions for almost 500 days. The Belarusian approach to fighting COVID-19 proved its effectiveness. Today, instead of 35 thousand patients in the hospitals of the republic there are just 11 thousand left.

Dmitry Pinevich, Minister of Health of Belarus: We meet this professional holiday with new legislation and a new five-year development plan. This is the development of postgraduate education, information technologies, and e-health. Doctors and nurses today temporarily left operating rooms and intensive care wards, changed their uniforms for dresses and suits and, practically for the first time in a long time, were able to see the faces of their colleagues without masks.

The guests of the Palace of Independence were able to take pictures in the offices, where important political issues are solved.
