MPs to consider constitutional amendment bill in first reading not later than June 4

MPs will consider the draft law on amending the constitution in the first reading at the spring session (i.e. not later than June 4).

There will be a novelty of introducing a single voting day. It means that it will be possible to hold elections to the local councils of deputies of the 29th convocation and to the House of Representatives of the 8th convocation simultaneously. A special commission set up today will prepare the draft law. It consists of members of the Constitutional Commission, people with a lot of experience.
