2nd stage of command-staff exercise of armed forces of Belarus coming to end

According to the scenario, the defensive side managed to stabilize the situation, and the divisions are to counterattack in an attempt to occupy a position of advantage and defeat the land groups of the conventional enemy. Particular attention is paid to the management of military operations. At the Obuz-Lesnovsky shooting range, motorized rifles and a tank battalion carry out a battle for holding the front line of defense. Fire support is provided by artillerymen and aviation. At the same time, air defense forces continue to carry out the tasks of destroying the conventional enemy aircraft and ensuring the survivability of the units. Observers of foreign military departments and representatives of the diplomatic corps from 15 countries have the opportunity to follow the course of maneuvers.

About 7,500 military personnel, about 250 armored vehicles, and three dozen aircraft and helicopters are involved in the exercise.
