EU introduces new rules for entering the Schengen area
From November 10, the European Union introduces new rules for crossing the border for foreigners. The system will record biometric data upon first entry, such as fingerprints and photos. All this information will be stored for three years, and stamps in the passport will be replaced by auto-registration through terminals. If they refuse the procedure, tourists will not be allowed. The new system will work in almost all Schengen countries, except six: Cyprus, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
