Parliamentary diplomacy: Belarusian delegation participates in Parliamentino Assembly
On December 4, the Belarusian parliamentary delegation is in Panama, where it is taking part in the 38th Assembly dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Parlatino.
The Parliament of Latin America and the Caribbean is gaining strength. Today it consists of parliamentarians from 23 countries. Belarus has the status of a permanent observer. The National Assembly of our state is determined to establish strong ties with Parlatino. It may become a conduit of mutual interests, including the establishment of trade relations. A number of bilateral meetings of Belarusian parliamentarians with their colleagues are expected within the framework of the 38th Assembly.
Belarus - Latin America: strengthening cooperation and security
On its 60th anniversary, Parlatino is at the forefront of issues of relevance for the region, such as artificial intelligence, food security, environmental protection, as well as strengthening cooperation with other regions of the world, strengthening security. Belarus has a great interest in the region today. And it is mutual. Parliamentarians are in favor of deepening economic integration.
